@badastro Indeed! We grew them in our yard in the Bay Area back in the 70s, we would chop some off for dinner with giant knives. My mom would allow a few to turn to thistles for some very glam flower arranging. The artichokes were huge, so the flowers were gigantic.

Hey, does anybody know things about ergonomic mice? My hands are very small and I have a bunch of RSIs and bad joints (my elbow and the nerves within are the worst, but my shoulder is bad also and my clicker finger needs a splint sometimes), and I'm once again idly thinking about getting an #Ergonomic mouse. Do they actually help?
Is it feasible to just have two mice plugged in and use whichever one feels best at the moment, or will that just result in a new and exciting stress injury?

@sinituulia OMG yes!!! I got the vertical MX a couple months ago and it is so much better. I got the previous, somewhat better MX mouse last year, but the vertical, so your forearm isnt twisted, is fantastic. I think you can have more than one mouse, b/c sometimes I go between the track pad on my laptop and the vertical mouse. (I have it all usually hooked u to a monitor, too.) Also got the ergnomic/swoopy keyboard, which takes a minute to get used to, but I love it. Much easer on the wrists.

    @TonyStark the secular private hs I attended in the 70s was “lunch and snack for everyone.” Like uniforms, it destroyed a useless place of distinction. Be who you are, not what your parents send you to school with. Loved it.

    @NatureMC @sewing I just typed up instructions for very primitive shorts, so you can see a primitive, generally pattern free process. The pattern such as it is, is just the shape from other shorts that worked over time...

    @NatureMC Here you go! The red vest was made with every square inch of a piece of damask that was hanging around for the longest time. It has a collar, beefed up so it stands up on its own. The black gold and silver vest has no collar, made to wear with the tux. Same fabric on the back as well.

    @NatureMC @sewing On pockets, you can make them anyway you like, even patch them on afterward, and put them anywhere. I often put a pocket on the inside of things, or inside other pockets, for something in particular. I hope you have lots of fun!
