The most ridiculous thing about US notions of decorum, is that people are expected to be silent when Black women are attacked.🤷🏿‍♂️

If a Black woman is attacked and no one says anything, it's allowed to slide. But if a Black woman is attacked and people say anything in response, either calmly and politely like AOC did, or with an in-kind response like Crockett did, then all the "neutral" parties come pouring out of the woodwork, worried about "decorum."

If you live in the US and are over 65, check with your doctor or your state health department. You should probably have an RSV shot, especially if you spend time around your grandkids, or little kids, generally. It's highly contagious, and after 65, our immune systems are not as strong as they need to be. If you have previously had COVID, you might need to have immune boosters for all your shots. Your doctor can test and tell you.

Anybody want to pitch in with pick and shovel? No, there really AREN'T any bodies we want to bury. Besides, we're too old to smack 'em in the head with a shovel. We just need to turn the compost, clip and cut all the weedy stuff, and chop it up in one of those electrical thingies for the FIRST NEW compost of this year. (We turfed out the old stuff to put in the barrels, and the lemon and limes are SO HAPPY! )

So now SpaceX, with no working spacesuit, and years behind on it's multi-billion dollar moon lander, is lobbying NASA to go to the Hubble Space Telescope.

I wanted to bake something today because the weather was cool, but I couldn't remember the recipe, so I had to look it up, but the recipe book was packed, so I had to move a bunch of boxes to get to it, but while they were out of the way I decided to put the kitchen rug down, then as long as I was at it I unpacked some dishes, then I unpacked my cookbooks then decided to put them on the tea cart, then put every else back nicely & now the kitchen looks better but I'm too tired to bake.
