Here is Stephanie P. Jones' take on SCOTUS's decision to grant cert in the immunity case.

Update from Ft. Pierce: Judge #Cannon did not set a trial date for the classified documents case during the morning session of the scheduling conference.
But she told prosecutors for the special counsel that their proposed July trial date is “unrealistic.”
"First U.S. moon lander in half a century stops working a week after tipping over at touchdown"
If this is not a perfect metaphor for private enterprises trying to fulfill social needs, I don't know what is.
Pretty sure #MotherNature needs to kick the living shit out of humanity at least two or three times before we internalize Aldo Leopold's #LandEthic sufficiently for humanity to live sustainably on this planet.
We just don't cut the evolutionary mustard. Carrying capacity is a harsh master.
I wish your family's genes good luck in the coming #jackpot
Listen to this and be very scared.
The Lincoln Project.
PASS IT ON.

President Biden gives remarks.
pass it on.
We glance at our phones a hundred times a day, doomscroll endlessly, overshare, and online shop till we (mentally) drop. Experts label it digital addiction.
But what if we're not battling chemical hooks in our brains? What if the overtures to connection, as shallow as they may be, are a reflection of what we need?
Imagine if all the collective money spent of “self driving cars” had been spent on public transport.
As in, not cars - which are ultimately bad solutions for most of the world - but punctual and pervasive clean-energy public trams, trains, and buses.
It’d have cost less and been far more useful for far more people. Including non-drivers. And actually be here. Today. Working.

"Co-founders of #Trump’s media co filed a lawsuit Wed, claiming Trump, other leaders schemed to deprive them of a stake in the co that could be worth 100s of millions of $.
The case could complicate a long-delayed bid by Trump Media & Tech Group, owner of Truth Social, to merge with a special purpose acquisition co called Digital World Acquisition & become a publicly traded co" https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2024/02/29/truth-social-lawsuit-trump-media-founders/
Intuitive Machines has some more news today about their IM-1 lander.

Ok, they got a few more pictures downloaded, as well as some data, but a success? Think we know a success when we see one, and this is not one. When a lander tips over or a rocket blows up, it's not a success. All this transparent gaslighting of the public does not instill confidence in private space enterprise.
The best political sage right now is Simon Rosenberg. Rather than get sucked down by the MSNBC doom merchants, how about tuning in to a daily dose of positive punditry and activism? Despite what you may have heard, all is not lost. In fact, we are winning! They are broke, in chaos, and struggling with holding support together for a lunatic candidate who is becoming more unglued ever day. The Democratic "party is remarkably unified as we head deeper into 2024."
How it works now:
"Open"AI, Microsoft, Google, et al vacuum up everything they can find, then regurgitate it, filled with BS.
It's such a novelty that pundits go gaga.
Investors pump billions into AI companies, which need more and more stuff for their databases.
Web services where we create or store information sell it to the AI companies unless we a) discover that they're doing it and b) opt out.
Reminder that the investigation into Jeff Clark started 1/24/21.
Rudy's phones seized 4/28/21--approved on Lisa Monaco's first day on the job.
Sidney Powell investigation was overt by 9/21.
Those are actual facts.
Garland & DOJ helped create this mess.
Their skittishness to greenlight an investigation into LEADERS of J6 -- for over a year -- left ZERO margin for error, in order to get a conviction before the election. Now we see their inexcusable delay
