Somebody woke up EARLY this morning, sang a paean of praise to his water bowl (so loud, it woke me up), ran around the bedroom and bathroom all morning bc if he goes downstairs, Izzy will kick his ass, then screamed to be let out until Izzy (predictably) kicked his ass, right outside the bedroom door, got dragged in to the bedroom again, sang more songs, ran around some more, BANGED on the bathroom door, and, when we opened it, changed his mind. Now sleeping like a bebe.

Back from the workout. Back is feeling great, lots more mobility. Knee is fucked. Oh, well. I don't need it THAT much. 'Maters are doing good, there's buds in one whole barrel, and a second barrel is just the right size to start budding. I give it a week. The small ones we transplanted, I don't think they're gonna make it. The big ones are doing much better, growing by leaps and bounds, but the small ones - cherry tomatoes - eh.

Left ankle: hugely swollen, yet only somwhat painful.
Right knee: slightly swollen and puffy, yet incredibly tender, unstable, and difficult to use.

Is the difference due to the AGE of the injury? The left ankle was horribly twisted 50 years ago and has continued to hurt periodically over the past 5 decades.

Right knee eroded due to arthritis, only painful for the past decade, tho increasingly.

FWIW, I get the usual advice from every MD: RICE. Take painkillers.
