2024 is a mega election year and the EU elections are taking place this week. This is the 2nd largest election in the world - around 350 million people are eligible to vote.

Just like the elections in India and the USA this year - this one is very important for coexistence on our planet. Therefore, we want to use our reach and call on all those who are entitled to vote to make their voice heard.

We must not leave the EU to the far-right parties and must defend our democracies. Please vote.

I’m crying on the bus (again) because some middle school kids decided that for their “design challenge” they’d envision an emergency food delivery drone that could fly high enough and fast enough that no one could shoot it down. Many politicians believe that when someone with a disability is married, it's the job of the spouse to pay for their disabled spouse's survival and thus PwD lose their SSI checks as a result of marriage and thus often "choose" to remain unmarried.

Unconditional Basic Income would change this. Marriage would never mean loss of one's UBI.

Also, because everyone gets UBI, no one with a disability would not get it, whereas with SSI, 4 out of 5 PwD don't get it.

Laurence Fox was involved in a traffic accident with a bus.

He livestreamed the aftermath when the bus driver was on the phone reporting what happened. The silver Audi A4 he was in appears to have been in the bus and cycle lanes.

Fox sounded drunk. But even worse, people checked the registration number on the Audi he was in. And the MOT was 6 weeks out of date.

Meaning that he's not only facing a fine of up to £1,000 and 6 points. But his insurance is automatically void.
