Is useless?

Opened a shop there, listed one of @vaviurka's handmade teddy bears, filled out all their creepy, intrusive bullshit (bank account, payment verification, identity verification), item online, all good.

Two days later, account suspended. No reason given, no email sent, nothing. Apparently I can appeal, but not sure for what.

What's an alternative that works, or do I have to make my own webshop because commercial internet is useless scum?

Just wanted to sell a cute bear :-/

@onepict The FT work on the guidance of the US State department. Fact.

The Guardian used to have a strong record in foreign affairs but it’s only recently that anyone from that organisation has spoken up and even then, it was weak sauce. Too little, too late.

They should be front paging this shit every day.

I’ve only recently become aware of the McBride situation. Sickening.

Current plan:

  • Build a replica of my website using #WordPress.

  • Add an e-commerce section on top of it using WooCommerce.

  • Build an e-commerce section for my music on my current Jekyll website, using #Shopify.

Then I'll decide which one's best, and potentially move on from Bandcamp. I'm not going to leave the platform, however I want to act on the principle of #BeYourOwnPlatform

Right now there's no news sources I can trust on what's happening in Iran.

I know the FT and The Guardian are in the pocket of the US state Department. I assume that's the case for most Western outlets.

Maybe Al Jezeera, even that I'll take with a grain of salt.
