Adding it to your git config will make the command git branch sort by last used branches instead of alphabetical. No more trying to remember what I called that last branch!
"The amateur believes he must first overcome his fear; then he can do his work. The professional knows that fear can never be overcome. He knows there is no such thing as a fearless warrior or a dread-free artist." —Steven Pressfield
For better or worse, PDF-formatted documents are an integral part of the electronic ecosystem we live in.
I am sure you have needed to scan some paper documents to PDF format either to send to someone or to file away for later.
There are plenty of PDF scanner apps available, and although they have plenty of advanced functionality they usually require a yearly subscription (don’t get me started) or are littered with ads.
Free simple PDF scanner.
You probably didn’t realise that you already have a simple document-to-PDF scanner right there on your iPhone. It allows you to scan documents, do some simple cropping and editing and save them to your files or send via email etc.
Here is what to do:
Open the Notes app that comes with your iPhone.
Press the new document icon on the lower right of screen.
Select the camera icon on the lower toolbar just above the keyboard.
From the popup menu select Scan Documents.
Position the document in the screen. It will be automatically scanned. Once completed position your next document. When finished hit the Save icon.
You can do some simple editing by selecting the file and selecting the little (what the heck is that….a clapboard, a filmstrip?) icon on the top right (figure 1.)
You can then select the individual page to edit (Figure 2.).
Did you know if you hold CTRL in Task Manager, it will pause real time updates? 👀
That means the processes on the Processes or Details page don't move around if you're sorted by something like CPU or Memory and it's easier to select the one that you're trying to click #tips#windows
1️⃣ Use hide-my-email aliases 😎 Services like #ProtonPass
allow you to turn off the alias if you receive spam. It’s a straightforward way to keep your inbox clean.
A lot of #americans are nervous when traveling to #europe. They’re worried about being judged or whatever. As someone who just waited in line with a ton of American tourists, here’s the number 1 thing you can do to stand out less in Europe.
Stop scream talking. The volume Americans talk at is frightening. Try whispering, then go like one step above that. That’s normal talking. If I can hear your entire conversation from 10 feet away, that’s too loud.
Need to make a phone call? Put the phone up to your ear and talk into it at that one step above whisper volume. Never ever ever put the person on speaker and then scream into the bottom of your phone. My jaw dropped as not one but two people coming to Denmark from California started doing this inside of a coffee shop. Not old people, people in their 20s.
Never fucking do this anywhere. For any reason. Unless your hands are like trapped by a car wreck and it is the only way to talk to emergency services. It’s not just rude it’s downright offensive. I cannot have a normal volume conversation with an employee because you are screaming about what bar you are going to.
