It’s hard to believe there was a time when I would play Project Diva Future Tone and that’s it. I feel in love with that game so hard during lockdown. Hadn’t played any of the previous games and I remember vets saying how it was a step down gameplay wise since it was an arcade port. That didn’t bother me much, I didn’t have to get used to a different button scheme I just needed to learn how it played now. The binds which some people say are for those that lack skill (lol) made up whatever for whatever was lacking.

Played on an actual cabinet earlier this year and was surprised at how similar it felt to playing at home (I always played standing up for one) - the actual buttons took no time to get used to it felt like, at least for me.

@sayonaraminasan I swear its hold note has a really wierd design, maybe no other rhythm games dare to do, totally a freedom one, you can choose the point you want to release, when it gets uncomfortable!

Also started WIND BREAKERS (which has 🇺🇸 dub) and found it strangely wholesome. The show is named for the distinctive windbreaker jackets worn by the local down & out high school as part of their school uniform. They're punks turned vigilantes who protect the neighborhood from other no good punks.

@neatchee @pixel dunno but Firefox should be a native Wayland window right now but Discord is still an X11 one (which needs XWayland)

@pixel Discord is still creating an X11 window by default which is the part I'm kinda afraid that it's the issue, I also have some issues like this on games running on Wine, so... I had to use it even it's unfinished ¯_(ツ)_/¯

hey #linux and #kde people on the fediverse, I'd appreciate some help --

I installed polonium recently and wasn't super happy with some of its functionality so I reverted to just using kde as is, but now i'm having some weird behavior where clicking on a hyperlink in discord won't focus firefox to display the link I just clicked on. Is there any way to easily flush old kwin script settings that might be interfering still? I'm not sure where that would live and I'd appreciate help because I really don't want to re-install manjaro but that's the best I got right now lol

@pixel if you are using it on Wayland, force Discord to run on Wayland window, just read about Ozone platform on Chromium stuff or just know that you are going to append these parameters

--enable-features=UseOzonePlatform --ozone-platform=wayland<br></br>

It would improve your Discord in Wayland experience more

It has some kinda annoying click + drag on the other side pattern that I always had some Misses... Able to cheese it :char_thumbsup:
Plus it's a 7 min track, so it made this run more intensive :kazumathumbsup:

@bookstardust maybe VILA making an extended version of Risoluto sounds more alright to me, hopefully they can do it...
and I wanna see rhythm game devs do some long tracks like this in recent rhythm games, since "2:30 rule" is really a thing when players don't want anything last too long
