I am a huge fan of Margaret Sullivan's work, and this piece about Musk is spot on -- except that she almost completely undermines her argument by continuing to pour her work into the deadbird site.

I’m much less astonished at this point than I am resigned. Not only is the NYT unlikely to institutionally reject this level of journalistic onanism, they’re unlikely to even think they should.

    I often wonder if klutziness runs in the family. I’m a great dancer, a klutz outside of that. Obviously, my mother is a klutz. The apple doesn’t trip and fall far from the tree in my case, but I wonder if klutziness can be an inherited trait.

    🎧 The car radio played "Would I Lie to You" this morning, and I flashed back to the memorable morning commute in LA when I first heard it.

    I lived in DC but was in LA on a freelance PR job for Columbia. Driving Hollywood Blvd, this image of (OMG! is that) Annie Lennox ruled the scene from a billboard. A minute later, the song came on KROQ—”new Eurythmics.” A bold new look for Annie and sound for the band. Hot! I said out loud and turned it up!
