anyway the big reason i went to woodinville today was to take the northshore map to woodinville bike

and they were the first people to have more data for me, though they mostly told me how to find it rather than giving it to me. it's all up in Hollywood Hills and a lot of it is off-road, so not really destination focused. But some of it, apparently, is paved and connected to other stuff, so of some interest.

Corman has claimed this might be the only movie he ever made that lost money. He thought that while he made a point with the movie, audiences didn’t enjoy it. Which is why he then tried to hide any message within the story itself, while still being entertaining.

I feel like there are a lot of people saying & doing intentionally horrible things right now. Today has been the closest to how I felt under a trump presidency. It's almost as if there is a collective coordination by horrible actors to try to mimic the moral injury trump caused, to weaken, to exasperate, to demoralize, to silence, to hurt all kind & good people who care about one another.

i really should replace the white material with something thinner but this is the idea - when I need the wheel (for the heaviest cargo) then I disassemble this, pop it onto the cargo trailer, and now it's ready for whatever the heaviest load is it'll ever handle.

I had a thought of making a second one of these things - I have another training wheel. I could make two.

But I almost certainly won't.

@ascentale @trouble A8: depends on how you count it! Either the spoke reflectors or if you include the cargo carrier I’ve been modding with new parts, the latest version of the front wheel mounting system. Less noise now, which I think we can all agree is good ^_^

@ascentale @RossA A3: I bike like most Americans drive BUT new routes (even minor variations) to the same places are good, so is finding other new ways to do things, e.g. my ongoing cargo trailer adventures and if you go far enough you might start making bike maps

Been trying to figure out how to phrase the next era of my #GameDev / #IndieGame studio

If it's my partner and I making games, but she's a very silent artist partner and wants zero exposure, do I just roll the "single creator" angle?

It feels weird, but also a lot of single creator games sure have lots of contractors so shrug?

Like if I say "couple", EVERYONE gonna zero in on that. The angle they'll want is couple interviews. And, well. No.

Found another google books scan that's just missing four pages in the middle.. Maybe I'm looking back on 2004 era google with shit colored glasses but I'm starting to think that whole exercise was about building a model training corpus and none of these was ever intended to be read by actual people

@hannah It's possible. I mean, in that era, they were working on stuff that was re-creating work I'd done in undergrad as an honours project, and I'd said "this is the kind of data you'd need to make this real" and by 2004 they'd absolutely have known that too.

So I'd say... yeah, seems likely.
