Dear #fediverse, looking for new-to-me angry/driving #music. Not heavy vocals, just angry. Please spam me with #song#suggestions (preferably ones I can find on YouTube).
If you sing and play guitar (or either), have at it! I’m sure you can make a nicer version than I did! (you can treat it as being cc by: just a link to the page is enough to make it yours)
There's a website (https://songswave.com) that might have stolen your #music and plan to make money off it without your permission!
I've just found my album "Enjoy the Ride" on there being sold for €4.26.
If your music is on there, you can send them an email at the contacts they've listed on https://songswave.com/pages/view/id/2/ requesting they remove it.
It was a #video#collage of #women of all ages, doing "indecent" things: playing football, riding horses, shooting bows, working in the laboratory, dancing or just standing on the street - all off them clapping hands in a short sequence, which was obviously some kind of defiant signal.
The creator, and "narrator" of this was a man in his fifties, heavily bearded in an unkempt style. As a as I remember, no word was spoken, just music, clapping and writing on the wall.
It was very powerful and a jewel in my long gone collection of anti-patriarchal video-clips.
Now I am trying to find it again. Will somebody #help me, please?
Hi everyone!! Here’s an extra-special song collaboration between @WrenArcher and myself for #FAWM!
Wren sent me the guitar part and a couple lines of a song idea, and I built those out to a full song. Even across the country, we got to sing together, working so well with the message of the song. We are not alone!
Have you ever heard a #song and you were immediately captivated by it even though you don't understand the #language ?
Did you also try to find a #translation ?

Ah, the wars they will be fought again
The holy dove, she will be caught again
Bought and sold, and bought again
The dove is never free
…
I can't run no more
With that lawless crowd
While the killers in high places
Say their prayers out loud
…
Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in
