Now that Covid is pretty much over I kinda feel like I missed out on a cultural moment by never getting it. All that masking, and social distancing and I don't even have any cool stories about scarred lung tissue to talk about!
What good is "herd immunity" (and its desperate offshoot, "hybrid immunity") if you damage the herd? Once is heavy enough, but over and over again? Something about insanity

Now that #Dune2 is already out, having missed the remake of #Dune: Part One due to #Pandemic, I'm reminded of the original Dune movie. It is definitely one of the best #SciFi movies of all times (if you have read the original saga 😉.)
