This Anchorage Daily News article may be paywalled, but if you can read this piece by Seth Kantner, please do. It speaks to my heart on how climate change is impacting our beloved #Alaska before our very eyes. For some of us of a certain age, solastalgia, the sadness and mourning for the environment we loved but that's been lost, is very real.

Description of Pikas from photographer Phillip Flippo: "When the Pikas are on the rocks, and they look left, right, or behind them, it's an action so fast that I thought they were just turning quickly. As it turns out however, Hatcher and company actually full on leave the ground in a quick ultra tiny hop when they adjust their position!" #Alaska#AlaskaWildlife#Pikas

The latest rescue by the Alaska SeaLife Center is a male northern sea otter pup. He was spotted swimming alone near the dock in Seldovia and he was crying out for his mom. After a few hours, the pup was rescued and transported to the AK SeaLife Center where he is receiving 24/7 care. He is just absolutely adorable!
