I've made a pack of 32x32 monochrome creatures!

Intended as a multitile creature expansion to my roguelike tileset, but can also be used for RPG battler sprites.

today i got decker working inside of Unreal so that i can show hypercard poems while you explore the world.
yay for having bitsy and hypercard in a big 3D game!
(the effect is beautiful because it really feels like you're experiencing the environment in different contexts)

Achievement unlocked! I made a cute pixel art font today for the game. It's a pixelated grunge typewriter font... It's really simple but I love the novelty of having my own fonts in the game :D

it moves slightly too, making it kind of like a twisting pile of snakes or worms.
this is the cursed area that you don't want to go to.

Several years ago, I made a piece of art for my Dragonborn Bard, Faeraxx. A copper dragonborn who played his instrument through his nostrils (no lips, you see) and who had a spectral tail that appeared whenever he played.

This piece started an entire reptile art journey for me, and I'm so glad for the love he's received over the years 💛

big moment! got all the assets for the center of the open world, the neighborhood, placed! all the houses, trees, grasses, details... it's beautiful too. just tweaking some of the performance now (making sure all LOD's are setup and stuff)...

i finished the giant field and ocean grave! this last explore-able area of the open world is done!! :O i'm moving onto the story part now... omg this was a LONG time coming. this last part is so serene and beautiful too. i can't wait to get the poems in there.

The camera pans through a field of overwhelmingly giant flowers and grass. The flowers are colored a array of peach and pink, glowing gently from their centers. Approaching the end of the field is an ocean. The ocean has bones peaking out from the waves. There is a giant skull leaning against the mountain, with the top of it's head cracked through which you can see the treeline. Moving past the ocean's shore is more field with giant flowers as far as you can see... Going west there are mountains with another skull resting at the base of the cliffs. Inside it are smaller flowers, growing from the mud.

i got this beautiful hypercard style (dithery black and white low-fi looking...) post processing effect working!
i'm making parts of the world where certain poems show like you are walking through a hypercard... it's a beautiful effect!
