I reduced the size of the hole creation and connected this to the laser cutter. It looks interesting, maybe there will be several places in the game where you need to cut a hole, but with a combination of Chaos Destruction and Geometry Script
I am now about 5 hours into Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut on PC and absolutely enjoying the game so far.
The graphics are beyond amazing. The combat is super smooth and fights with enemies can be tough at times if you're not careful. I love the open world and being able to explore things on your own in a lot of ways. Definitely glad I picked this game up.
Yes I have! Well, at least part of it anyway. Going by the amount of Xbox Achievements I unlocked for it previously, it suggests I haven't finished the game, but did put 6 hours into it. 6 hours that I do not remember for the most part! 😅
I woke up this morning and felt the need to give a shout-out to one of my favorite #VideoGames streamers. Now, don’t get me wrong, I have more than 10 #Twitch channels that I love tuning into, but @VoltanisNF has this perpetual positive vibe that always makes my day better. Tune into Voltanis’s stream sometime; I believe you will not regret it. So, that’s my Saturday shout-out, and I hope you all have a fantastic weekend! :ablobcatheart:
Something that's been cool to see over the past few years is the emergence of more non-combat focused building/strategy(?) games like Islanders and Autonauts.
I think maybe Dorfromantik fits into that category too? Not played it but that's the gist I've gotten about it.
Should look into more of'em tbh. They manage a nice slow-burn pace without as much tedium as games that try to explicitly slow you down (i.e. many RPGs).
Never really understood competitive games, for a mixture of reasons, and among those reasons is:
if you excel at a game, you kinda narrow down who you can enjoyably play against, and doesn't that kinda suck?
Personally I've never found it much fun to wipe the floor with opponents, AI or otherwise, so I don't get wanting to excel at a competitive game. In my mind you're undermining your own enjoyment of it somewhat.
can anyone help me remember: a while back, a game dev or studio had made t-shirt kind of embracing the concept of walking sims, rather than the term being a put down on games.
I’ve tried searching but with only “walking sim” and “t shirt” not a whole lot comes up 😅
I want to say they had made one of their own but I can’t recall which. Pretty sure it was after Firewatch but don’t know for sure
Decided to start a replay of Tomb Raider. Crazy to think the rebooted version is already 11 years old.
When I played this the first time around, I thought this scene looked incredible! And although some of the graphics in this game still stand up well today, it’s definitely showing its age!
