SF North Bay view of the Aurora!
I still cannot believe it was visible this far south. We all piled into the car and drove out to the bay marshes. I was expecting at best to see a fringe on the hills to the north; instead at times it reached as much as 45 degrees up from the horizon. It was so beautiful!

I’ve said this before but apparently it hasn’t sunk in but if you say “Biden has lost my vote”, don’t expect anyone to listen to you or be surprised he’s not out gunning for it. The election is 6 months out. If there’s no way you’re voting for him, nobody fucking cares what you want.

You can enjoy likely a 7-2 or 8-1 conservative SCOTUS that will be grinding down our rights for the next generation or three. Enjoy that.

@TonyStark I had one say he was voting for Biden but if we bugged him on social media he wouldn’t. Because when I vote in this election it won’t be to save democracy or lives but because I got my ego coddled? Sheesh.

@rohaq Explaining to people, that not voting for Biden is a defacto vote for Trump and that he will actually get more people killed than Biden could ever imagine being in anyway connected to isn’t shaming anybody. It’s just stating the truth. There is, noting wrong with protesting but it’s imperative that they also acknowledge that voting is required. @jeff @TonyStark

@TonyStark Yep, it was the most incredibly petulant, self-absorbed childish response to their duty as a citizen of the world let alone of America. Oddly enough, it’s a response I’ve heard more than once. The other part is unless you’re doing something that you intrinsically know is a little shameful. No one can shame you. If someone stating the truth makes you feel shameful… you should. #farL

@GottaLaff I believe major is CNNs wording. It’s not in quotes. One thing that gets missed in this whole awful business is that initially the weapons were primarily for defense and there has already been a pause in shipments due to BiBi’s threats on Rafah.

@Nonilex The only things I would have done differently is the color & shape of the earrings (made it more organic, like this carved emerald leaf but maybe a shade deeper or carved sapphire) and added the tiniest bit of blue green to the eye palate

    Regarding the whole bear meme that's going around the internet, I'll say this much: I've been backpacking all around the world solo, and have gone on extensive trips in the wilderness where bears exist, including the entire Appalachain Trail and Olympic National Park amd Olympic National Forest. I've encountered plenty of bears and plenty of men while alone at night, and the bears were always, always less threatening to me. Not because men are powerful or anything like that, of course, but because of their behaviour and potential motives.

    The men who are protesting need to learn to shut up and listen.

    @FrankFrank It actually goes back at least as far as Regan. The other person besides tRump who McCarthy said “we know Russia is paying” was Dana Tyrone Rohrabacher who helped Regan slow roll the hostage release so Carter would look weak for the election. @GreenFire

    @Heliograph Very pretty! Have you ever seen a Monkey Puzzle tree? They always look like a Danish modern sculpture to me. They got tired of the Dino’s eating them and evolved massively thick spikey needles to survive. This isn’t my photo but it’s lovely. I’ve only ever seen one in person at Kew, but it didn’t disappoint. #Trees

    @Heliograph Just looked it up. Those are some huge pine cones lol. They could do a bit of damage if they hit ya. It does look kind of like a Monkey Puzzle tree no wonder they call it a False Monkey Puzzle tree.
