On my way out to go to the tank farm (gas station for you who don’t live in the Arctic) and something stopped me in my tracks. #Nunavut#photography#LandscapePhotography
Last one. For now. A dog team heads out Adams Sound into the teeth of a storm. The landscape fades into the drifting snow. #Nunavut#Arctic#cold#landscapePhotography photography
People often think of California as nothing but desert. Let me change your mind. If that is true, than this is what the desert looks like after a rainy winter. This is a California wildflower super bloom at sunrise. Poppies & wildflowers as far as I could see covering this hills. One of the most beautiful things I have ever seen.
This is one of my absolute stunners. I have it also printed on my wall here. Everything was perfect that day. Truly one of the best things that could happen to me
I'm sorry, but I'll post it repeatedly here because I just love it sooo much
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. And I can just recommend printing it! ;-)
And here we are again. Continuing with my "Pristine Winter" collection. I just had gotten my new camera and lenses the days before and was totally eager to get out ... and that day it just had snowed. -- no colors any more. I was a bit ... well. I had to replan. go for black&white, structures, patterns, shapes only.
Two giant ancient oak trees in their autumn colours on a muggy morning.
The tree in the background is a good 700 years old and may be up to 1000 years old. I'm not sure how old the tree in the foreground is, but it won't be much younger.
The area around Silver Star Mountain is incredible. I needed this trip so badly, both physically and mentally. I slept at the trailhead and got up bright and early to check out the Chinook Trail. I only learned about this trail a couple days ago. Apparently an effort to build a loop trail around Vancouver, WA and Portland, OR.
It’s larch season in the mountains of Washington State. These conifers have needles that turn yellow and fall off in autumn. Makes for some unreal landscapes.
The Island is a great place for #nightsky photography as we have little light pollution over the majority of the land and seacape. #LandscapePhotography
In an ATV trip to Innaaluup Nuvua last summer we stopped at the top of this magnificent valley above Innaarulaalikuluk and Admiralty Inlet. #Nunavut#Arctic#LandscapePhotography
