This is one of my favorite shots from a recent photo shoot. In the center at the end is the Starorobocinski Wierch, the highest peak in the Western Tatras in Poland.

A characterful ancient hornbeam in an ancient woodland carpeted with bluebells, shot this spring, with a veteran oak tree looking on in the background. And then a separate image of the veteran oak on its own.
There are at least a couple of bird nests in the hornbeam, and I just love the textures in its trunk. It weirdly reminds me of a ripped bodybuilder.
Caddo Lake Dawn - Right before sunrise the sky lit up with some wonderful colors against a silhouette of cypress trees in the lake. I also loved the nice reflections in the water of the trees and sky colors in this early morning capture on Caddo Lake.
A breathtaking morning at the Navarre Beach Pier. Measuring 1,545 feet long and towering 30 feet above the ocean, it's the longest pier in the Gulf of Mexico.
The blue domes of Santorini was a place I have wanted to see as long as I can remember. Last October, I was there & I was sick!! Feeling awful but determined, I managed to capture a few shots of the beauty of the caldera, the Aegean Sea and the blue domes.
Family of Geese - my husband and I always love watching the goslings grow and the beautiful sunset skies of summer. We don't have those skies this summer however, mostly grey and lots of clouds. But on this August evening, a most delightful sunset sky.
Pinnacles of Meteora, Greece are a stunning testament to nature & the ingenuity of man. A stunning landscape that will leave you without words. Perched atop several of these monoliths are a complex of monasteries as if suspended in air. Imagine building on a freestanding pinnacle, ropes, ladders & nets in the 14th century. Out of 20+ 6 still remain.
I had an amazing weekend, I’m so happy spring is finally here. It’s so freeing to carry everything you need on your back and be completely surrounded by nature. I feel so much safer alone in the middle of the forest than camping along forest roads. I’m considering this spring training while the Cascades are still covered in snow. This trail is ideal for that.
During Spring in the desert, the landscape shifts subtly. Saguaro cacti bloom, adding color to the barren terrain. A desert thrasher finds refuge on a flowering saguaro, embodying resilience in this harsh environment. Zoom in and check out the detail.
Mount Hood looks stunning from up here on Table Mountain. I was informed by a frankly terrified-looking day hiker that black bears were seen up here last night. I’m proceeding with caution and will update you if I encounter them. 🐻🗻☀️
