@llewelly@mike@futurebird friends why are #vertebrate animals so huge and what has kept them from miniaturizing? (wikipedia claims that guinnes claims that) P amauensis is a whole ten miligrams
M helenae, widely celebrated as the smallest #dinosaur known, tips the scales at a whopping 2 grams!

You are starting your own Jurassic Park, on your own private island.
You can snap your fingers and get 5 prehistoric life forms from any time period to be the first exhibits.
What animals do you choose?
Reply and let me know. Maybe some of those will become dinosaurs of the week... maybe :D #JurassicPark#Lego#Dinosaur#Prehistoric
Sweet, archeologists found a pretty much whole #pliosaur skull embedded in a cliff wall. Plios are probably my favorite water #dinosaur (though helicoprions are the most outlandish). I frigging love dinosaurs, man... Would be nice if we could stop killing each other and the planet long enough to develop better, more realistic video games that let us "walk with dinosaurs"
Last, but not least, is Yoot the Utahraptor, mascot to our Were-House events.
Yoot is the tenacious spirit of creativity and survival in the face of daunting circumstances. They live in their ancestral homeland in what are now the Rockies, adapting through wild climate changes and tectonic uplift, and now through the presence of humans.
