Saw some heated argument about nasi lemak the other day. Though I love to have numerous side dishes with my nasi lemak, I believe a good nasi lemak should be able to stand on it’s own basic components; fragrant ‘fatty’ rice that is not too dry, a well-balanced anchovies sambal, crunchy cucumber, a half hard-boiled egg & all of that neatly wrapped in banana leaf.
While 1975 left #Malaysia unscathed due to their #whiteprivilege, the actual #LGBT community living their daily lives there will be the ones further jeopardized and left to pick up the mess they left behind. Did they understand the repercussions of their actions; the eventual pushbacks, the polarizing, how this'd eventually became proof to some that their organic, lonesome resistance of simply being can be easily dismissed as being goaded by westerns?
Recently paid a friend a visit. She had to be warded at the public #hospital for cancer treatments. Guess how much she had to pay for a night?
