News of money previously given to #House Speaker Mike #Johnson's congressional campaign by #Russian nationals has re-emerged after the #Republican rejected a $95 billion foreign aid bill passed in the Senate.
In 2018, a group of Russians were able to donate to Johnson's bid for the Louisiana seat he eventually won as the money was funneled through the #Texas-based American Ethane company.

It’s crucial to understand that the Republicans had the opportunity to pass the bipartisan national security bill, already approved in the Senate. However, they were UNWILLING to do so for six months. They unnecessarily introduced multiple bills, causing further delays in the aid to Ukraine. This must go through the Senate, even though the Senate had already approved a bill that included national security. The Republicans removed the #border security from the bill. Removing billions #potus had for CBP and CBP wanted this badly! Keep this manipulation in mind.
