Wipe better or use preparation H. Hell, scooting your ass across the carpet would be better than shoving random shit up there in public.

So why would this dress code not already be unconstitutional based on sex discrimination? Girls can have long hair, why not boys? The hair grows the same fucking way.

I'm conflicted about it because their blatantly fake plates attract the attention of traffic cops and they take WAY longer to process while they monologue about insane shit, so it increases the odds of me not getting caught speeding

Grandfather was beaten when he tried to use his left hand in school (Catholic run), father was not beaten but also forced to use right hand in school. I was in kindergarten and the teacher pointed out that 'we need to fix that' referring to my left handed writing. My mother must have given her a stern warning because I never heard anything else about it.

Our high school mascot was Robert E. Lee in the form of Yosemite Sam, guns and all. Our fight song was Dixie and there were confederate flags everywhere. We were also still doing desegregation busing until at least 2002, so there's also that.

Oh wow there's more than one out there? I don't think that one is ours but it's been a while since I graduated

That has to be them, the colors and the logo style are identical to what I remember

Why even bother with an election at that point? It wouldn't make any difference because obviously they would overturn any results they don't like, even if they themselves were elected on the same ballot

Honestly, once it was clear to me as a kid making sense of the whole uterus thing that I could only make human babies, not kittens, I lost all interest in that pursuit. Got sterilized, will keep adopting cats until I am old and grouchy

Do you need to forge things where the materials are mined? Was there no interstate commerce in this universe?

Taking away Trump’s business empire would stand alone under New York fraud law (apnews.com)

"Within days, Donald Trump could potentially have his sprawling real estate business empire ordered ‘dissolved’ for repeated misrepresentations on financial statements to lenders, adding him to a short list of scam marketers, con artists and others who have been hit with the ultimate punishment for violating New York’s...

I love how these idiots continuing to commit fraud even after knowing they were under investigation and to this day insisting nothing is wrong with the fraud is somehow a valid legal reason/excuse to go easy on them. All that does is make others want to max out the crazy with their own fraud, since there's now precedent for them to lean on when they get caught.

I got my fallopian tubes removed for free after the Roe reversal because of Obamacare rules on reproductive healthcare, I think that's pretty damn good given what went down those 8 years

So how does a full time employee 16 year old protect their income from being taken by guardians? Can you get a checking account without a parent signing on? How does a 16 year old arrange for housing needs or set up accounts to pay utilities?

Your Smart TV Knows What You’re Watching (themarkup.org)

These TVs can capture and identify 7,200 images per hour, or approximately two every second. The data is then used for content recommendations and ad targeting, which is a huge business; advertisers spent an estimated $18.6 billion on smart TV ads in 2022, according to market research firm eMarketer.

Last i checked there's already a law like this in Texas that forbids businesses who work with the state from boycotting Israel, oil and gas companies, or gun rights groups

FYI there's already a law in Texas that does this. State agencies cannot do business with companies that boycott Israel, oil and gas companies, or gun industry and rights groups

I call BS, there's not enough room for this sort of detail, you'd get 'as described previously in [1-4, 9, 84, 86, 150-160, unpublished observations]' half of which are unaccessible journals, out of print book chapters, and abstracts in German

My favorite is recursive bad citations in the method section. As in, citing a paper that cited a previous paper that itself cited a previous paper that cited an abstract with no detailed methodology whatsoever, leaving the true methods a mystery unless you get the senior author to reply to emails.

Donald Trump's Jan. 6 defense gamble straight out of Prigozhin's playbook (www.newsweek.com)

His [Trump’s] legal team’s submission states that, between the classified information on foreign interference and biased intelligence reports, “this evidence will undercut central theories of the prosecution and establish that President Trump acted at all times in good faith and on the belief that he was doing what he had...
