Someone asked me what I think is going on with Trump's lawyers attacking the clerk.

Yesterday I said this:

"It's hard to tell what is going on with that. My best guess is that Trump's lawyers are fatigued, know they are losing, and are getting weird and paranoid."

Judge Engoron, who sees it all up close, said there is misogyny.

I just saw a picture of the clerk and I have revised my opinion.

The judge may be right . . .

It's an amazing, otherworldly sight, if you've ever been lucky enough to witness it.

Probably my most memorable occasion was in the 1990s, on a road trip through Maryland and Pennsylvania... early one summer evening, we stopped at the site of Antietam, the bloody Civil War battle... and there, as dusk set in, the fields all around us unexpectedly began lighting up with thousands of fireflies. It was unforgettable!

Today it's so windy near Edinburgh that the price of power has gone negative! So we're helping out the electric company by turning on more lights.

Why does the price go negative? Apparently because it costs more to slow the turbines than to let them spin and generate power. And it costs more to dump the power somewhere than to have customers use it.

This is not a moderate bill. This is one of the most extreme I've seen. The restrictions target access and force doctors to lie to patients. You can't make 3 appointments at a clinic that doesn't exist. It also mandates that doctors misinform based on far right junk "science.” It's an authoritarian nightmare with a moderate sounding name.
