I submit that this is how you actually make progress: build popular support for your good platform and then win primary elections on it while building a wide coalition with people in the party you’re running with.

It's much more effective than trying to threaten your way to power, yell at the Democrats you want to vote for you, and say you want to take over the party from within.

@lin11c @StillIRise1963 Well, I can tell you I didn’t buy eggs for a long time and I only buy them when they’re on sale now. Not to mention how much I love eggs. I do the same with most items. Also, if I don’t desperately need it, I don’t buy it. Case in point: ground beef, just regular fatty hamburger, was five dollars a pound at Kroger. I can live without burger at that price. I went and bought fish that was buy one get one free, made it normal pricing.

@StillIRise1963 After I asked the question last night if there wasn’t an IG for the Supreme Court,I heard a lawmaker is trying to pass a bill to install an IG for the Supreme Court. We definitely need one. For the life of me since the Republicans are doing nothing else in the house they could bring impeachment charges against Thomas, Alito, Kavanaugh and Barrett.

The state I live in (South of the US) is pushing a law to ban the mask in public for "health reasons".

This spring I have been so miserable because of the allergies that by necessity I decided to wear a #mask outside again despite taking strong medicine that won't allow me to be safe outside.

There is also a deadly pandemic going on but who cares I guess.

If I wear a mask that is to protect my health and also others.

I have no name to describe how messed up this is.
