Fanatic settlers are attacking aid trucks and still Western leaders do nothing. Are ordinary Israelis ok with this? Aren’t some of these American citizens? The level of thuggery is astounding. These settlers have total impunity because their leaders are in the government. This government is clearly violating international law and committing genocide with a very clear intent. #gaza #starvation

There’s a debate about who’s indigenous to Palestine. Some argue that Europeans Jews have genetic markers linking them to Moddle East. A lot of Southern Europeans have genetic markers linking them to Middle East. In fact, many who do not consider themselves Jewish—because Judaism has not been their family religion for generations—have Jewish genetic markers. There’s a significant amount of “Jewish” as well as “Arab” DNA in Spain and Italy.

Double standard: The US government seems to worry a lot about foreign interests influencing US voters’ opinions calling it election interference. But they seem to be generally OK with election meddling if US politicians are receiving political contributions from US lobby groups working on behalf of foreign governments. They are also OK with former-senior officials and politicians’ relatives taking money from foreign governments.

@LALegault Biden is breaking national laws too. The US has strict laws on when the US can send or cannot send military aid to a foreign country. The Biden Administration has violated them and continues to do so.

Anthony Blinken and Mitt Romney complained that social media like was making voters emotional & lose sight of the bigger issues. What are the bigger issues that justify this atrocity? US interests in the Middle East? Profits for US weapons industry? More 💰 for them? They are morally bankrupt.

The US media vilifies liberal universities as if they were the bastions of antisemitism. But these universities are the safest places for Jews only second to synagogues. The far-right has been successfully attacking universities in red states and is now using antisemitism (any criticism of Israeli policies and solidarity with Palestinians) to crack down on academic freedom in blue states. They care very little about real .

MSNBC and Hillary Clinton are joining the far-right smear campaign against liberal universities. She calls students ignorant and that they don’t know any history. Does history justify genocide? She must believe that “will to power” justifies violence.

The Clintons are the worst kind of Democrats. Bill abandoned the American working classes for money and Hillary is throwing liberal institutions under the bus.

We should also be very clear that the Christian Zionists in the US constitute the biggest Zionist group. They are seriously promoting theocracy. I ❤️ Simone Zimmerman. She's an amazing young Jewish leader. She talks about how to secure real safety for Jewish people, about far-right attacks on universities in the US, about the weaponization of antisemitism, about her pro-Palestine activities, etc.

She's a courageous & principled fighter for peace. I want someone like her in the Senate and White House.

But tours following the lives of Palestinians living there before the establishment of Israel tell a more detailed reality.” Of 70,000 Palestinians, only 4,000 remained. Palestinians were expelled and someone else would just take over their houses and their belongings. Just like that….

@GhostOnTheHalfShell @palestine The rise of nationalism in Europe was the trigger. Making of a “nation” out of different people was never a peaceful process. The process was particularly violent when nations were created based on the myths of racial or ethnic uniqueness & superiority (Germany, the Balkans, etc.) With all the talk about globalization, we are still stuck in the nationalist stage of history and voices that scream “us vs them” are getting louder.
