On my second attempt at sunrise at Angkor Wat, I wasn’t really seeing the colors in the sky that I wanted. There were some nice colors but nothing that grabbed my eye. So, I decided to try something I haven’t done in years where you zoom in/out with your lens as you expose for a few seconds. This exposure was 4 seconds. Really pleased with the results I was able to create and look forward to sharing more.
People often think of California as nothing but desert. Let me change your mind. If that is true, than this is what the desert looks like after a rainy winter. This is a California wildflower super bloom at sunrise. Poppies & wildflowers as far as I could see covering this hills. One of the most beautiful things I have ever seen.
This morning's sunrise was worth getting up for. It was fantastic. I also found a place on Lake Superior near my house that I haven't spent much time photographing. I found a bunch of new compositions and features to photograph during the next month while the sun is aligned correctly.
Some days are magical on Glastonbury Tor. Today was one of them. Good company, mist and a lovely sunrise. What better way to start Sunday. Bryce Canyon in Utah is known for its stunning geological formations. Towering, colorful spires known as hoodoos have been carved over time. The otherworldly landscape is a maze of canyons and breathtaking vistas. Early morning sunrise.
Caddo Lake Dawn - Right before sunrise the sky lit up with some wonderful colors against a silhouette of cypress trees in the lake. I also loved the nice reflections in the water of the trees and sky colors in this early morning capture on Caddo Lake.
