Strategists encouraged Republican lawmakers to be as specific as possible when they discuss their stances on abortion.
Senator Todd Young came up with the brilliant phrase “#pro-#baby#policies.”
Senator Josh Hawley summed up what he thought the problem was: “Most voters think [‘pro-life’] means you’re for no exceptions in favor of abortion ever, ever, and ‘pro-choice’ now can mean any number of things,” he told NBC.
Actually, voters understand what GOP's "pro-life " position is only too well!
It's ridiculous that all these #Republican#candidates are expressing #outrage and sadness about the #racist#Florida#massacre of three black people. It's so phony and disingenuous. It's their #policies and their actions that are to blame for this, and other #shootings. It's their refusal to take any meaningful action on the subject of #gunViolence that leads to tragedies like this.
There are many large and #serious#problems in the world. Many people are victimized by the #system in a thousand different ways. This is not their story; it is not about their problems, but this should not be seen as minimizing them.
