This is such a heartbreaking story. #SammyTeusch was a 10yo boy who endured years of relentless #bullying. For years his parents begged the school to do something—anything to put a stop to the daily torment. And for years the school did exactly nothing. Finally, this little kid couldn't take the abuse anymore, and he killed himself. There's no basis for including a #citizenship question on the #census. The purpose of the census is to gather data on "every person" residing in the #UnitedStates. The Republicans' desire to add this question is intended to discourage non-citizens from filling out the census form, and subsequently lead to fewer people being used to determine #appropriation, to the benefit of the #GOP.
