FInnish Defense Forces war time logistics chief, LtGen Mikko Heiskanen according to Ilta-Sanomat: "We have the positive problem that our ammo warehouses are nearly at capacity and will need more storage space"
I can think of a positive solution to that problem - not that it hasn't been employed already, but apparently there's capacity for more.
New to me: the CPAN Security Working Group, started April 2023. https://security.metacpan.org The draft WG scope incl distributions published by CPAN, and supply chain security.
@sjn Looks like a great effort! I was part of the organizing team for PackagingCon 2023 (https://packaging-con.org) and I'm one of the current Discord admins of https://package.community which has brought together folks working on various package communities. The WG may be of interest to folks in the #supply-chain-security channel of package.community if you're interested in connecting with other package ecosystems!
When all that shit went down I was living in a #DV relationship and I was already very suspicious that #Johnny was being abused by #Amber. The marked deterioration in his health, and other poor decision making since meeting her, was crystal clear and a mirror to my own situation which scared me. It was sickening watching Cluster B's around the world celebrate his decline, while Amber's smiles just got wider as she radiated with the attention brought by her marriage to #Depp - a valuable source for the narcissistic #supply she endlessly craves.
Johnny is a seasoned professional who was visiting Australia for work, as he had done many times before. He was severely injured by #Heard during his stay here. I would not be at all surprised if that fight was about her illegally bringing the dogs into the country without his prior knowledge, and her wanting him to lie about it. It was obvious, to anyone paying attention, that Johnny was making excuses for his abuser's deliberate and unlawful actions, in the infamous Customs hostage video where they both "apologised".
Seeing the terrifying harsh reality of Johnny's deterioration laid stark before me, and feeling the mental and physical repercussions from being targeted by spousal abuse for two decades, I was motivated to separate from my husband soon after all that went down. I was happy to hear of their divorce. I was triggered, but not surprised, by her efforts at #triangulation after the split, pretending to represent victims of domestic violence.
She lied about all these things and continues to avoid any real consequences, never needing to concede any responsibility or remorse for her actions or behaviour. Victims of abuse just want to end the ordeal ... they want No Contact ... they certainly don't want to send messages provoking their abusers. I'm sick of textbook #narcissists being allowed to get away with shit over and over again, and their (willfully) ignorant flying monkey's who enable abusers to continue their mistreatment and manipulations of others. #Enough is Enough.
If your “housing plan” is just to build more market price suburban homes you can go fuck yourself with the rustiest metal spike you can find. That’s me being polite.
Rising prices are a normal market indicator of unsatisfied demand. And the normal market reaction is to increase the supply to try to meet that demand. Which is exactly what happened here...
I'm not sure why this particular chain of events is anything other than fully expected and realized.
After a 12 year project trying to breed the ultimate bean for the UK climate, it's hoped that finally we'll be able to grow haricot's in the UK to fuel our baked bean obsession.
"Experts say Canadians bracing for higher payments when they renew their mortgages in 2025 and beyond should start planning now in order to best manage the increase."
I'm not even sure it would be possible to install a SuperCharger there. The whole town's current #electricity#supply is probably only a few hundred kW - the existing #infrastructure probably does not have the excess #capacity for a single 150kW charger, much less a pair of them.
Apartment rents are on the verge of declining due to massive new supply (www.cnbc.com)
A year ago, rents were posting 11% annual growth. Now they look like they're about to go negative year over year.
