What’s in Gallery 69 today? New “Warning Sign” mini print, some 3D printed “Pidgin” keychains, a stack of rocks, a ceramic vessel, some retro-reflective prints… FREE ART! Come and get it!
Well, that fucking sucks. I just went into my o3 meeting with the boss and was told that I don't have a job anymore. If anybody is looking for an experienced #vue / #node / #php dev in the #Milwaukee area (or remote), let me know.
I did manage a 5.28 mile ride this morning before the rain. It’s been a while, felt good to get out there again. (I also reported a bunch of potholes to the city.)
Biked 21 minutes today which was 3.26 miles and an average speed of 9.2mph... Cemetery was a good ride. Only one car drove through, and one cop car was parked there.
This handsome fellow visited my porch this weekend (Milwaukee WI USA)--the likes of which I haven't seen before. iNaturalist couldn't pinpoint the species but similar beetles looked possibly unfriendly to trees (borers). Anyone have tips on what it is? #Milwaukee#Wisconsin#beetle#invertebrates#B&W #iNaturalist
One of my neighbors got tired of seeing their unused dish on the roof of their house from the second story deck, so they had a neighbor turn it into a piece of art.
I am working on spinning up a #GoToSocial (https://gotosocial.org/) instance that I am calling "Wisconsin Rocks" (I knew that my next instance had to be Wisconsin-themed). It works interchangably with #Mastodon, #Pixelfed, #Kbin, etc.
I have room for 10 users at the moment. Want to try it out? Give me a holler.
For anyone in #Milwaukee that doesn’t already know, there is a great newsletter every month detailing the efforts that are (and maybe are not) underway to make our streets safer for everyone. It’s a great way to stay up to date with what projects are coming soon, and where and when to engage as a citizen to bring about the change you want to see. Check it out:
