When I had cable, I used to regularly watch #TopChef, but I haven't watched it in years. However, I resolved to watch this season since it takes place across #Wisconsin. I really enjoyed the first episode of S21 and I'm glad the chef I found most obnoxious was booted first.
The episode was a little light on the Wisconsin quotient, though someone on the production evidently thought the Hoan Bridge was pretty cool.
I live several blocks from the Milwaukee Art Museum, famous for the Quadracci Pavilion created by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava. Last night, on a chilly, foggy Christmas Eve, we walked to the museum, and I snapped a few photos. I thought I'd share a couple! #Milwaukee#Calatrava
My trip in #Milwaukee has been so. much. fun. I love it here. The food. The coffee. The people. Everything. The Midwest has such a special charm. This entire time I've debated on whether or not I should relocate back here... Anyway, I shot my besties today for their new salon business, and I think they came out pretty damn cute.
I stumbled across this post which mentioned one of my old bands, Ten Boy Summer.
(Well, I joined near the end, so calling it "one of my bands" isn't quite accurate. Still, I did the recording for the demo, printed shirts, went on tour (in my van!) and I'm pretty sure we wrote some songs while I was in the band before it ended.)
I did a 5.3 mile bike ride this morning and followed it up with a 10 minute walk. The ride was a bit rough since I skipped the last two days due to being ill on Saturday evening.
