Do you think I would need permission from the city to make an arch over my #sidewalk between my roadside strip and my main garden, to grow vines on? It's all my property, right? As long as I don't interfere with the sidewalk and pedestrians, is there any problem?
There's a stone arch across the sidewalk elsewhere in my neighborhood that I'm somewhat jealous of, because it looks cool as heck. I'm sure it's from another time period, but is it possible to build something similar today?
1/3 Our cleanup this morning on Letitia Ave near Rainier Ave in Columbia City was a success! Thank you to folks including @jrock08@jeremycole@bobco85@katehoerster for coming out today to rescue a sidewalk lost to overgrowth and negligence!

How would you make this street better for biking & walking? Capt Bertie’s Way is a short 20 MPH street with residences and an entrance to a major town parking lot at the end. There’s a planned shared use path to connect a new housing development (highlighted parcel). Thoughts? #BikeTooter#UrbanPlanning#SafeStreets#sidewalk#bikelane#UrbanDesign#streets#CompleteStreets
