I need a website for my very very small business. I need it to be in multiple languages. Wix is being difficult about answering my question as they keep trying to get me to pay for their translation app which I do not want.

Does anyone know if the other website builders will let me build a size and have alternate languages without needing to duplicate the pages?

Or is duplicating the website the best practice?

    The rumor is that #apple is going to have some #AI chips in their m4 processors.

    This will be cool to see, but completely useless if more ram is not available.

    An #LLM works pretty well on my wife's #M1 Air with 8gb ram, but it almost completely locks the system while processing.

    For the cost of upgrading the ram on a #mac, I can just buy a #3090 and run AI stuff remotely from any device.

    not only am I addicted to regular coffee in the morning, but I have been drinking this brand of instant decaf coffee at night

    it’s “currently unavailable” even though I receive it as an every three months subscription (yeah, I know)

    anyway, I need a backup because I’ve run out and the regular scheduled shipment looks delayed two months

    admitting you drink decaf instant coffee is sacrilege here so I can’t just ask around

    So last week I spent way too long on #edsa I was advised to avoid it at all costs. I left a little earlier and took as many roads as I could that were not edsa.

    So, Dungeons & Dragons. Where do I start? I have been interested in learning to play this game for years, but do not know anyone else who does. I found a site called Roll20 which is like an online place for this.

    There are games open to new players, but I do not even know enough to get started. So, can someone recommend a starting place for me to read or a youtube channel to watch before I join my first game? Also, D&D, pathfinder... etc is there a big difference?

    I’m surprised at the performance an #llm can run at on my 8700-cpu.

    It’s a bit slow and I don’t think it’s worth getting a gpu just to make it run at a faster speed, but maybe in time I’ll reconsider it.

    @SomeGadgetGuy Thanks, I really dislike the idea of bloat on the phone. So, I am only really considering a Pixel. But I really would like to have a desktop mode like Dex.

    I wonder how useful that mode is. I can never find videos about people who actually use that as part of their workflow.

    As far as I can tell, there’s no independent app distribution on iOS, like there is on the Mac. There are only “alternative marketplaces” that have to be approved by Apple.

    That sucks. Fuck that shit. We don’t need gatekeepers at all, whether Apple or some alternative. Anything less than the capability for direct distribution from developer to consumer is unacceptable.

    Is a life sentence inherently unfair? If you’re 18 and get a life sentence, you spend way more time in jail than someone who gets a life sentence at 75.

    On the reverse side of that, is a 5 year sentence like a life sentence for a 75 year old?

    @CultureDesk billboards on roads should be banned. That’s the real problem. They are meant attract your attention and drivers should be looking at the road. Honestly, there have been times where I almost crashed because I was distracted by a billboard.
