As with all of her postings, everything Heather Cox Richardson says today deserves attention. She opens by noting that the Dow Jones closed above 40,000 for the first time in history. But "in comparison to the breathless coverage of the stock market during Trump’s administration, this milestone is getting very little coverage."

While the flag was up, the court was still contending w/whether to hear a case, w/Justice on the losing end of that decision. In coming wks, the justices will rule on 2 climactic cases involving the storming of the Capitol on , incl’g whether has for his actions. Their decisions will shape how accountable he can be held for trying to overturn the last presidential election & his chances for re-election in the upcoming one.

Let’s start off with fact that #JusticeAlito needs to #resign immediately. It’s reported Alito was flying upside down flag outside his house after #January6. He responded by blaming his wife. This is absolutely ridiculous. Alito & #ClarenceThomas made our #SupremeCourt an abomination. They take straight up bribes from people who they are hearing cases from, go on lavish trips w them and have absolutely no #accountability whatsoever. Supreme Court needs term limits. https://www.dworkinsubstack.com/p/alito-and-thomas-made-supreme-court

@levampyre An upside-down American flag is a #symbol connected with false claims that the #2020election was stolen from #DonaldTrump. Individuals who were indicted and convicted for #insurrection on #jan6 used the upside down flag as a symbol of the #MAGA movement - so this is part of the symbolism used in the anti-democracy movement in America.

Vance replies, “Exactly.”

Collins then says,

We don't take hostage nor use martyr in the US.

By your response, it's obvious you're not fully aware nor understand that the students become terrorists when they attempt to extract demands by taking school campus hostage.

We don't allow it on #Jan6 at US Congress nor from sympathy terrorists that hijacked a peaceful protest.

Protesters should be ready to sacrifice their rights if laws or private property is violated.
History doesn't care about your bias.
