Today, Trump will be joined by the #House speaker, #MikeJohnson, as well as #NorthDakota’s governor, #DougBurgum, a contender to be Trump's running mate. Also present will be Representatives #ByronDonalds & #CoryMills of Florida, & #VivekRamaswamy, who was one of Trump's primary rivals this year. Both Donalds & Ramaswamy are longshot hopefuls to be Trump's running mate.
#Republican#LizCheney, the fmr congresswoman, #Jan6 cmte co-chair & #Trump critic, assailed #House Speaker #MikeJohnson for his impending appearance outside the courthouse where Trump's #ElectionInterference / #HushMoney trial is taking place. “Have to admit I’m surprised that SpeakerJohnson wants to be in the ’I cheated on my wife with a porn star’club,” she wrote on X. “I guess he’s not that concerned with teaching morality to our young people after all.”
"Darrell Goins, of Newell, S.D. is charged with six felony offenses. According to U.S. Department of Justice Goins’ actions and others disrupted a joint session of the U.S. Congress while they counted and assured the electoral votes related to the 2020 presidential election."
The decision by the court means that #SteveBannon could soon become the second former #Trump aide to be jailed for ignoring a subpoena from the #Jan6 committee, #PeterNavarrowas the first. #Bannon is facing a 4-month term in #prison.
#NealKatyal says while #JackSmithcould appeal #AileenCannon’s decision, it’s unlikely that he will. The writ of mandamus standard is too high a bar for removal & #DOJ is loathe to cast aspersions on any judge.
He’s more optimistic about the possibility of #Trump’s #Jan6 case getting scheduled now that the #ClassifiedDocuments case is indefinitely delayed.
They’ve yet to rule on either Trump’s #immunity claim or the #Jan6 case disputing the use of the #obstruction of an official proceeding by defendant Fischer that could impact #Trump as well as other #J6 defendants.

"I’m just checking because you did help raise money for people who did so on January 6, which was impeding an official proceeding, breaking into a building that they weren’t allowed to be in and vandalizing the Capitol."
🚨 SENTENCE: Marine Corps veteran Ryan Nichols sentenced to 63 months (5.25) years in prison and what is, I believe, the largest fine in a Jan. 6 case to date — $200,000 — for assaulting police during the #Jan6 insurrection
REMINDER: Rep. Pete Aguilar (D-Calif.) revealed in the Jan 6 hearing that “a confidential informant from the Proud Boys told the FBI the Proud Boys would have killed Mike Pence if given a chance.” Given that members of the Proud Boys were both among the earliest arrivals inside the building and had a demonstrated predilection for violence, that’s not an idle threat.
Trump, at a rally in Waukesha, #Wisconsin, called for tougher action against campus protests & again suggested some of the protesters were paid actors. He called on college presidents to “remove the encampments immediately, vanquish the locals & take back our campuses for all of the normal students.”
He also, again, described 2017’s deadly neo-#Nazi rally in #Charlottesville, Virginia as “peanuts” compared to pro-#Palestinian student protests across the country
By your response, it's obvious you're not fully aware nor understand that the students become terrorists when they attempt to extract demands by taking school campus hostage.
We don't allow it on #Jan6 at US Congress nor from sympathy terrorists that hijacked a peaceful protest.
Protesters should be ready to sacrifice their rights if laws or private property is violated.

He would gut the US civil service, deploy the #NationalGuard to US cities as he sees fit, close the WH #pandemic-preparedness office, & staff his Admin w/acolytes who back his false assertion the 2020 election was stolen.
