generative art version of the halting problem: it is generally impossible to determine if letting an algorithm continue will produce a better or worse artwork #generativeart#abstractart#digitalart#haltingproblem
I've been manically drawing Mid-century modern #LivingRoom furniture illustrations. I would love to print this to put on my wall because I think I could look at it for a long time.
Artists work REALLY hard for years and years to hone their skill, and many rely on online sales and communities to help them pay their way in the world.
If you find a piece of art online and want to share it, please do the leg work to identify the original artist. Google Reverse image search is pretty good at getting you close.
If you don’t know the artist because searches are coming up blank, be sure to SAY (so you don’t become credited for someone else’s work).
There are waaaay too many people on this platform sharing with no effort being made to properly give credit and exposure to the people who made the thing you’re sharing.
Finally, tip the artist! Your enjoyment of their art will no doubt give them warm fuzzies, but it won’t pay the rent…
Also, I’m NOT a visual artist, but I AM a content creator, former professional musician, fursuit performer, and VO artist.
I would be DEVASTATED if y’all treated me like some of you treat visual artists.
