The only issue so far I can find is that sometimes stuff is loading a little slow

A reason for that could be that currently the feeds are rebuilding (11K) and the database is indexing

Also there are about 500K backlogged jobs in Sidekiq so the database has a lot to do

I respect CWs for other things, but not politics. Politics is news and people need to be aware of what's happening. It's not gory or violent, it's politics.

Obviously it's up to you but I don't like what i see as an aggressive post on this issue that's been put into my TL. So Iโ€™m trying to decide if my camera saw the auroraโ€”I certainly did not. But hereโ€™s one shot where I cranked up saturation and vibrance (whatever that is) and you can see the color bands. The lowest is clearly city lights, but the purple? You can see stars in the area, so it isnโ€™t clouds. The control, I guess, will be going out again in a few nights and taking a similar picture. (15 seconds, f/4, ISO 200).

@aral not sure I agree with that, I'm sure there are enough good engineers out here who'd be happy to takeover from them at the salary he quoted getting, we'll never be able to compete with the money people in the US who will make large bets on the basis of taking it all later as that will be their goal have no doubt about that. Will they relinquish control do you think, I suspect not and so we who have a huge input into what this place is have no say

It's also having the side effect of causing massive inflation on car insurance even if you don't own some Tesla type shit

Yesterday I was looking for external SSDs and I found one of 8TB for 79 euros but I'm a little sceptical :bloblaugh:

It's from a reasonable vendor but there are no others that come even close

Mostly they offer 1TB for around 112 euro's :amaze:

So perhaps they made a mistake or it's just an empty box :blobcatgiggle:

@stux I assume you've either already replaced the cd drive or it doesn't have in? In that very tiny probability that you don't know u can get a SSD case to replace a cd drive, although having said that I had one laptop that wouldn't recognise a 1tb drive in one of those cases due to some bios cockup
