Mike Johnson won election as Speaker of the House with all of the Republicans in the House today voting for him: 220. So, that’s the new speaker. The guy who was a driving force behind a lawsuit to disenfranchise voters in 4 states in 2020. Will he lead the House in working with the Senate? Will he retain Republican support if he does? We’ll find out soon enough.
