So, a co-worker has a cold today.

Got me thinking. I honestly thought having a pandemic will finally stop people from showing up sick at work. But it doesn’t.

I used to be one of those who will suck up any illness and continue work, seeing patients, even without a mask 🫢😧.

But Covid changed my perspective on this. If we can, we shouldn’t work when we’re sick. It shouldn’t be a radical idea.

I’ve tried quite a number of #Twitter alternatives but I think, the content on the #Fediverse is still the most diverse and toptier among them. Yeah, Bluesky is interesting enough w/ a lot of funny shitposts. Threads is populated with “official” social media accounts of notable entities.

But it’s only here that I know of random joyous things about an ordinary man in the outskirts of an far-off country.
