N.Y. Congressional Primary Is June 25th. Just got my mail-in ballot filled it out and sent it out. Hopefully, another Democrat for the house in my district.

Iowa will not participate this summer in a federal program that gives $40 per month to each child in a low-income family to help with food costs while school is out, state officials announced.
@Free_Press I worked in the School Lunch Program in Illinois, mostly in a technical aspect. We went to the most participated schools in the program which, of course, was the poorest schools in the State, to acknowledge them and their school's participation. For many of these children, this free lunch was the ONLY meal they had the entire day.
