Last night I was ready to start a new RPG. It’s been quite a while so I was in the perfect mood for it.
And since I watched that Ys video I really wanted to play an entry into the series.
Since I can’t restart 8 on PS5 yet, I decided to go with Memories of Celceta.
I only played the intro back in the day on Vita. Played for about 3 hours last night and I’m really enjoying it. Can’t wait to go home late tonight and play some more.
Still on my Ys Memories of Celceta trip so when I was shopping for harder to find, but cheap Visual Novels and RPGs, I had to add this one to the list.
€33 brand new, so I'll call that a steal. 🥰

I want to give the #JRPG genre a try. I have been thinking about this for more than a year and I eventually settled on #OctopathTraveler as the perfect JRPG (probably). And now there is that second dilemma: Should I play the first one or skip to the second one? The Internet claims the games are unrelated and the second one is simply better.
The not so random game of the day: Xenoblade Chronicles.
While I never got to the end of Xenoblade, I adore this game... It was such a surprise to see the little Wii pull off this incredible feat. Such a massive and gorgeous game.
Since last week, I've felt the urge to go back and live amongst the Homs ones again, and I did so last night.
Before I knew is was past 1AM already, which barely ever happens to me anymore. 😁
I told myself that when it hit €45 I would grab it. That's the price at which most of the previous entries went for at launch, but for some reason, this one went up to €60 everywhere.
Last night I got an email alert from a shop in Holland that it went down to €46, and since I'm a massive Atelier fan, I could not say no, despite needing to drastically slow down my spending.
I wish we got way more videos like this.
Instead we are drowning in videos that go “here’s why I hate the games that you enjoy and you should stop liking them!”, or something that has the same vibe.
I still need to find a copy of Blue Reflection myself, but it’s certainly not cheap these days. 😔
Anybody got anything neat or fun to share? I'm trying to find more people #onhere to follow. Trying to avoid the toots about the doom and gloom of the world.

A great video focussing on the European JRPG scene, and the lack thereof at times, where she looks lovingly back on Super Play and their championing of the genre.
I don't mean to judge, but holy hell the English-speaking narrator of the Nintendo Direct showcases has GOT to be one of the whitest sounding voices ever. Like, when POC comedians do a purposefully bad "white person" voice... it's this voice. lol
