The not so random game of the day: Xenoblade Chronicles.
While I never got to the end of Xenoblade, I adore this game... It was such a surprise to see the little Wii pull off this incredible feat. Such a massive and gorgeous game.
Since last week, I've felt the urge to go back and live amongst the Homs ones again, and I did so last night.
Before I knew is was past 1AM already, which barely ever happens to me anymore. 😁
@OutofPrintArchive awesome game. It took my 3 runs at it to finally finish it, but I finally did and loved it. I have such a hard time finish games with lots of side quests…
Played some more last night and had a blast, but as it got closer to midnight, I forced myself to go to bed instead of staying up and being a bit of a mess the next day.
Can't wait to play some more tonight. 😊

Still early in and I always get distracted by all the side quests.
Just about to head to the back through the marshes to get higher up.
It baffles me just how much I've forgotten about this game.
But then again, it's like playing it for the first time, which is certainly not a bad thing. 😅
@OutofPrintArchive it’s actually a game I recommend skipping some side quests on because it’s so huge by the time you get to mid game you’ll get burnt out. And I’ve 100% it twice.

That's indeed what I plan to do as I did get burned out on it a couple of times in the past.
It's hard though as I always feel I might be missing out on something and I would like to see and do it all.
But yeah, I'm gonna try and limit them for sure and push forward a bit more deliberately, knowing that otherwise I won't get to the end at all.
@OutofPrintArchive honestly it’ll be OK. The combat is so fun you won’t miss the exp. It’s mostly bobbins stuff with a couple of exceptions and all decent gems can be crafted

I had to adjust a bit to the combat again.
I started the game on Switch earlier this year but got distracted by so many other games, so it had been a while.
My save point was just before a bunch of smaller, yet quite tough enemies, so I nearly died right there and then. 😅
I have to look up how the chains work again as I remember there being certain things that worked better than others, besides the break, topple and daze thingy.
