You can call me Sherry. I love to laugh, and am very joyful and fun overall. Wife to one man, mom to one daughter, and grandma. Owner of 2 #parrots and 2 #dogs (1 of which is my #ServiceDog). We live in a 5th wheel in the midst of one of Michigan's Amish communities on a secluded lot in a beautiful area. BA in #music - currently love playing my #Tyros5 and my small #ukulele collection. Use my music to worship #Jesus, am a #Bible believing #Christian living out the Scriptures 24/7 by holding God's hand throughout my life, failing only when I let go. Always aware I am His vessel. “Where the Bible speaks, we speak; where the Bible is silent, we are silent” (Thomas Campbell) is how I deal with most things. A strong conservative politically, I choose to focus instead on the eternal rather than the temporal in my relationships, online and off, and on loving those that God puts in my path, meeting them where THEY are. Love to cook, and eat to minimize the effects of my disabilities as much as I can since 2004. For me that's been #lowcarb and/or #keto and/or #ketovore and/or #carnivore almost exclusively. Been using social media since my #Compuserve and local #BBS days in the 80s, and my interest remains strong to these #Fediverse times because meeting interesting people is such a delight and joy!
#Texas is no longer a part of the #UnitedStates. It is now a cruel, barbaric hellscape where it is preferable that women bleed out and die rather than be treated with dignity, humanity, and be given appropriate medical care during #miscarriage emergencies. I guess if #Jesus wanted these women to live, he wouldn't have sent them to fucking Texas.
When you take the lyrics "would he devote that Sacred Head for such a worm as I?" into your very core as a 5-year-old, it takes A LOT to get shut of that unsightly baggage as an adult.

Sometimes when we walk, we pass by this statue of Jesus at the Queen of Angels Church right off Welles Park in Lincoln Square. We often call him Bangra Jesus. Put on some Bangra music and look at the photo - ROFL

The heart of #Christians are on full display following the #eclipse. Some delusional #Christofascist woman who was convinced that the eclipse would usher in the "#rapture" left huge tips for multiple servers prior to the event because she figured she'd be with #Jesus, and wouldn't need the cash. When she discovered that she was still on Earth after the eclipse, she was struck with #Biblical butt-hurt, and went back and demanded her tips back!
If #Jesus came back today, #JamesComer and #GymJordan would subpoena him, and have him before their Congressional #impeachment committee tomorrow. The notion that they'd accept and embrace him is too absurd to even contemplate. Jesus, as described in their very own official #TrumpBible, is an unquestionable #liberal whose teachings are directly contrary to their professed beliefs. Jesus just doesn't understand #Christianity the way the #Republicans do.
I don't have any specifically Easter-themed music, but... #Jesus was apparently some kind of zombie; probably a lich (zombies that can do magic). So I suppose "The Inevitable Zombie Apocalypse" is a good themed tune for today. Have a listen and see if it doesn't put you in the #Easter spirit!
