I am waiting for the day when Russia will stop this war against Ukraine and maintain peace. I know it's not going to happen anytime soon.
Russia has been increasingly deploying "glide bombs" in its offensive against Ukraine, with over 200 of these weapons used in a single week to target the northern town of Vovchansk during Russia's ongoing cross-border advance near Kharkiv.
🇺🇦Thinking of all of my Ukrainian friends, volunteers I met from around the world, and the heroes on the front lines.
✈️Since 2022, I've volunteered on four humanitarian trips across Ukraine, from Przemsyl Poland then to Lviv, Kyiv and Kherson, most recently in March 2024.
I will continue to be a voice for Ukraine's strength and beauty, reminding the world of the ongoing need for support across the country. 🕊️

The #Biden admin paused the shipment of thousands of weapons to #Israel, including controversial 2k-pound bombs, amid mounting concern about the country’s plan to expand a military operation in southern #Gaza that could dramatically increase the conflict’s death toll, U.S. ofcls said Tues.
It's not normal to use 2000 lb bombs in the rescue of #hostages but it is normal to use 2000 lb bombs in the destruction of an enemy in a tunnel. The civilians used as human shields remain dangerously in the middle.
The priority for #Netanyahu is obvious and he will not be negotiating the future #peace.
