It is not columnVisibility as that only determines how it is displayed in split view mode, not split vs. stack.

Imagine making a sophisticated piece of hardware, and yet the news that keeps popping up is how that hardware is missing calculator functions. So much so, that when you do decide to finally make a calculator app for your hardware, it's apparently news.

Ich liebe FreeForm auf dem iPad. Mich stört einzig, dass man nicht automatisiert per Shortcut ein neues Blatt anlegen UND ihm auch einen Namen geben kann. Aktuell lege ich mir manuell für jeden Tag ein Blatt an und skribbele den ganzen Tag darauf rum - Notizen, Ideen, kleine Zeichnungen zur Ablenkung in langweiligen Meetings, etc. pp. Abends erfolgt dann ein kleines Review, die Todo-App wird gefüllt und relevante Notizen übertragen.
I'd really like to get a new #iPadPro soon. Mine is like the v0 of the Pro series so I think it's time for an upgrade. I'm trying to hold out for the next release. 😬

I'm at an EU workshop for Apple to discuss and justify its DMA compliance plans. They've been forced into 3 huge u-turns by EU (killing PWAs, removing Epic Games' developer licenses, sideloading) so I'm interested to see their demeanour. Will it be humility, or the usual 'fuck you, we're Apple'? There are people from EU companies that Apple blithely planned to bankrupt by sneakily removing PWAs here. And regulators have human feelings too; no-one like "fuck you". I'll be here all day (try the baguettes!)
When Chromium comes in to play and Brave, Chrome, Opera, Vivaldi, etc. start moving away from #WebKit, there is very little incentive for Apple to continue maintaining it for just their browser share.

I hope this is the year #Apple realizes the #iPad Pro line is a mature enough product to finally drop #iPadOS in favor of #macOS with robust touch input support. Sure, #Finder might need to be modified to adapt to a touch first device. The issue here is, #iOS on which iPadOS is based is significantly holding back the devices full potential and it seems intentional at this point.
