Below are pics of the entire #quilts, and close-ups them. These were both made by my mom + are in storage at her place in New Jersey. The dimensions of the 1st one are 44 x 54 in (112 x 137 in), the 2nd one is 52 x 72 in (132 x 183 cm). If u like either of these ones, or want to inquire about other quilts, send me a msg! I pieced this #quilt top about 4 years ago and finally took it in to the local quilt shop to be quilted in January. I put the binding on last night and think it turned out very pretty. I can definitely see the progress I’ve made in the quality of my piecing work in the last 4 years.
Calming down. Drinking mango ayran and stitching away the saturday night. Another embroidered Hexi for my Quilt as you go quilt. What are you crafting tonight?
Exciting day! Trying to feel less sick by force of will, so I'm doing some quilt layouts. Hoping if I have a less messy room (by virtue of finishing these projects), I'll feel better. lol. (Believe it or not, this has worked for me in the past. I at least feel like I got something done, eh?)
Here's the underside of a quilt top I've been working on for 2+ years, actually. #quilt#crafts#MadeByMe
My mom has this 25 x 25 in (64 x 64 in) floral cross-design #quilt available. It comes with a narrow fabric sleeve sewn into the back of it so that a dowel rod can be slipped through and it can be hung up on the wall. Message me if interested in this one! If you buy it, you also get a free 14.5 x 14.5 in (37 x 37 cm) pillowcase cover that she made as a free gift, a pic of it is in the comments section below. Message me if you're interested in this fine deal! #quilts#artforsale#artlover#crafts
Here below're two really beautiful #quilts my mom made that're available, the first one's a lattice design #quilt and measures 52 x 58.5 in (132 x 149 cm); and the second one, the butterfly quilt, that one my mom recently finished, she said it took four months to complete, that one measures 55 x 68 in (140 x 173 cm); msg me if you like either these! Great to give to a friend or family member of yours as a gift! Everyone loves getting a nice #handmade quilt! 🌟 #art#arts#quilting#quilter
My mom sent me an e-mail with some photos in it last week of some new #quilts she has available, here is one of them, check it out! My mom likes doing really experimental stuff with quilts, this one's really modern, lots of awesome stuff going on in this one. It measures 72 x 84 in (183 x 213 cm), so it is nice and large. Let me know if you'd like to take a nap under this dazzling piece of #textile#art! ~~~ #quilt#arts#artwork#artist#artists#quilting#quilter#quilters#decor#textiles
The great 2024 #decluttering has turned up this. It’s a washable colouring in map thingy. I’m very tempted to turn it into a small quilt. Maybe with flags around the outside as a border? Could maybe colour in the critters with embroidery? 🤔
And thinking about how I’m going to finish it off. I would like to have it as a #quilt centre, but do I need to match the fabric weight for the border to the weight of the map? It’s a fairly heavy cotton. Not sure the quilt idea will work though. 😬
My aunt sent me a kit and pattern with this adorable fabric, BUT I am incapable of following directions and the quilt just really doesn't do justice to the fabrics, so I'm tweaking the pattern. A lot. lol. #quilting#patchwork#sewing#design
Edited to add: original pattern is on the left. Also, not sure why the color is so much less saturated.
