The good bit about having a manual push mower is that you can cut the grass in the evening without disturbing the neighbours (are you listening garden power tools man?). Going to need to cut the ample hedging soon. This will also be by hand. Snip snip. Bit by bit as and when I have the time (this is when I meet new people who speak to me whilst i'm queitly...er...trimming my hedge. Stop that).

Yes I have a #plants problem, but luckily the #garden centre is always able to take my money 😆. Painted the planters with concrete paint, and got 6 #cotoneaster plants in them. Also bought a few other plants of course. @plants
2nd blooming of our front garden #rhododendron bush tree. It has its first blooms in February & the colour is light pink. It changes to this deep #red colour, on 2nd bloom times 🥰
All day, every day, we acquire a lot of information, some of it true, quite a bit of it, I imagine, false, or at best, misleading.
The world won't stop when we stop listening. We have freedom to pause, look at our surroundings, wonder, ponder, and seek that which is true, and beautiful, timeless, natural, normal and good.
I painted this pastel painting on velour paper. The texture of this paper contributes to the dreamy, soft and somewhat blurred impression of the pastel painting.
Running towards the preferred human to apologise for verbally abusing her earlier. She had been checking my fur with a comb, which I had not consented to. Therefore, I feel it was deserved, but I felt apologising anyway was the gentlemanly thing to do to keep the treats coming my way.
I’m back from my mom’s condominium, where the excessively manicured sprayed and poisoned landscapes are barren of bees and butterflies. So glad to be in my garden where the wild things are. Here is a great big bumblebee busy at work in our front yard.
I'm back to 3 day working weekends, long brutal days, so weekend posts will tend to be on Monday or Tuesday...lol Last week saw plenty of wet heavy #snow#rain and some #sunshine #Flowers are coming along anyway mostly in the garden + wild catkins and first wildflower (not shown here, yet) -this week: cool/rain then mid-20sC! #SixOnSaturday#Alberta#MayDay🌱🌿❄️📷#garden
