Pictures of sea pinks will continue until the fediverse cheers up. Consider this a formal flowery warning.
We do love these amazing plants, growing in impossible conditions, and so colourful. #flowers #Assynt
Our white #lilac tree is now over 8 feet tall.
I originally #propagated this from a small cutting, taken for free from a construction demolition site, 10 yrs ago.
It smells fabulous 🥰
A single, wild rose reaches towards the blue sky with white puffs of clouds. Framing the rose in the folds of rich blue forever holds the beauty of this flower.
We've been waiting for this. The thrift on Stoer Green is still waking after winter, but we know that it arrives early among the rocks close to the shoreline, so we headed there this morning. This was our reward.
The background qualifies for a #lichensubscribe tag too #Assynt #flowers
Our apple tree is looking pretty happy this year.
The neighbors say they are installing some kind of netting to keep the birds out of their fruit trees.
I mentioned that to my husband, and we remembered that we had an abundance of apples last year. We had boxes for us, and we gave away buckets full as well as feeding lots of hummingbirds.
So far, the tree looks like it will be fruitful again, so hopefully, we will all get our share from this tree again.
Even the birds. #Flowers
Meanwhile, indoors, one of my #ChristmasCactus#houseplants has its last bloom (for this round). They bloom multiple times/year. I propagate a lot of them too.
