I have created two of these in the inverse. Beautiful striking black and white flower art by floral artist Sharon Cummings. A unique design with classical elements and botanical beauty.

I maintain that switching between standard and summertime should not be a thing anymore.
Then again, two days a year with an excellence excuse to play with all my watches 🤷🏼‍♂️

There are, for instance, more heart attacks and digestive and immune-related diseases in the week following the shift to DST. A small bump in car accidents also tends to be recorded.
Long-term health effects include depression, slowed metabolism, weight gain and cluster headaches.
That's because our "social clock", ie, the schedule under which our societies operate, and our internal clocks, which are more or less aligned with the sun, are out of whack.

I don't understand why we can't all agree that, in whatever time zone you live, we set our clocks to noon when the sun is at its zenith on the summer solstice? This jumping ahead & falling back is nuts. Even what we call it is nuts. There's only one way to save daylight & that's to use a solar cell to charge a battery. Well, I guess growing a plant saves daylight too. Changing our clocks in no way whatsoever saves daylight. It's a scam people!

“Rainforests in the UK are part of the Coastal Temperate Rainforest biome. This habitat is globally rare and some say is more threatened than tropical rainforest. Ideal conditions for temperate rainforest are found along the UK's western seaboard, including the west coast of Scotland.”

The richness of lichens in these parts of the UK is partly because the western extremities of the country have been least affected by air pollution.
