The internet is really siloed now. Videos only seen by people on the video site, posts only read by people on the post site.

Almost want to tell indie devs to not bother with social media, videos, contacting journalists... all the "normal" stuff... and just focus on reaching people on Steam/itch.

I've been thinking about changing the title of my game. For one thing, the storyline has evolved and Marika is no longer a "rogue".

Apparently there's also a well-known game series called "Valis", and I don't think having a name that is pronounced the same will be beneficial.

I haven't invested any serious time into marketing, so this is the time to move forward with a change if I'm going to.

There are "head" games and "body" games.

🧠Head games take you out of the moment and think about the future; you plan, solve puzzles, strategize.

🤼Body games put you in the moment; you react, feel embodied.

Cheeeers :blobcheerbounce: Finally fixed a nasty bug that took me about a day..

The NPCs would stop the combo attack after receiving damage from the player but with an elegant workaround it's fixed

I'm kinda proud of the system setup.. All monsters are based on 1 main class, each single monster is just a child-class with the animations and mesh(3D model) and the settings for HP, damage, XP, animations etc!

Adding new monsters is just a few minutes work now
